The Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg), held annually since 2001, is Brazil’s largest academic event in the field of Computational Security. SBSeg hosts approximately 300 participants, including professors, researchers, graduate students, and professional experts from Brazil and abroad to present and discuss the latest scientific and technological advances in information and computational systems security. SBSeg’s recognized reputation comes in part from the expertise of the coordinating staff as well as the diversity and scope of proposed activities, relevancy of discussion topics, and a rigorous selection process for submitted papers.
The 14th edition of SBSeg will take place in Belo Horizonte, MG, in November 2014, and will be coordinated by the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (DCC/UFMG), under the direction of Professors Jeroen van de Graaf, José Marcos Nogueira, and Leonardo B.
